Internet Prayer Request
The Power of Many

The Power of Many

We often feel our prayer request is not being heard in the quiet of our own home. There is a biblical saying, "Where two or more are gathered, there I am." There is definitely power in numbers. Every church, synagogue and temple has a prayer ministry of some kind. These are groups formed by ministers or rabbis plus trained practitioners of prayer and perhaps lay people as well.

With the convenience of the home computer, Internet Prayer sites have multiplied. You can find an Internet Prayer ministry for every religion. We've given you links to three.

Prayer Ministries for Everyone

The first one is for people who consider themselves spiritual, but maybe not religious. This is a non-denominational prayer ministry which may include people who are Buddhists, Hindus, metaphysicians or Christians.

For those raised in Fundamental Christianity, we've provided a Christian Ministry site.

The Jewish prayer site is called Aish. When you send in a prayer request, they actually insert it into the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

None of these sites listed ask you to register nor do they ask for donations. Use them as often as you want. Simply write out your prayer, click on 'send' and let it go. It's okay to ask for help. It's a sign of courage and your strong intention to live life fully.
